______________________________________________________ 2008 SECC Early Bird Drawing Results
As you know, the Early Bird Drawing for Two Round Trip Airline Tickets for Two – compliments of US Airways – was conducted on November 3rd! On Friday, November 14th, 2008, Angela Fischer, SECC Statewide Coordinator, and Kathe Cochrane, Campaign Finance Manager, traveled to Prescott to surprise the lucky winner of the US Airways tickets! And surprise him they did! Craig Namanny, of the Arizona Pioneer’s Home, was speechless when he learned he was the winner. The Arizona Pioneers’ Home is a continuing care retirement home nestled in Prescott, Arizona. Superintendent, Gary Olson, gathered the employees in the lobby/activity center, many of the Home’ s residents were on hand as well, to share the excitement and wait for the announcement! Everyone shared in the joy of Craig’s prize. Every year Craig and his family drive back to visit family in Iowa…maybe this time they will fly!!!! Congratulations Craig! |
